Mainstream media reports an increase in cyberattacks, which are also growingly affecting civil aviation. As was falsely the case with the attacks on the Nord Stream pipelines and on every other occasion, blame is placed on Russia.
Only within the intelligence services are there verified findings about the nature of the cyberattacks. However, growing evidence suggests that their loyalty and the unadulterated sharing of their intelligence cannot be relied upon. https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/assanges-liberation-is-only-the-first-step-part-1/
Throughout the 20th century, the Western, and especially the American, security apparatus has developed into an increasingly powerful and simultaneously counterproductive state within a state – because it has not yet been subjected to sufficient democratic control.
The evidence of the CIA's lies in the run-up to the Iraq War (2003-2011), as well as the revelations by Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, should have triggered a major clean-up of the all-powerful Western ‚security‘ apparatus. Only Trump's long-overdue opening of intelligence archives and some personnel changes were steps in the right direction, but they cannot yet eliminate the influence of big money on the security apparatus. There is no other explanation for the NSA's black funds mentioned by Edward Snowden.
Since Snowden's revelations in 2013, and even more so since WikiLeaks' Vault 7 disclosures in 2017, it has been known that no one is better prepared to manage cyberattacks than the NSA, CIA, and other Western intelligence agencies. "The Vault 7 disclosures, released by WikiLeaks in 2017, exposed ... the CIA's extensive cyber warfare capabilities. The leaked documents detailed sophisticated hacking tools designed to infiltrate smartphones, computers, smart TVs, routers, and even vehicles... Among the most alarming revelations was the Marble Framework, which allowed the CIA to mask cyberattacks to appear as if they originated from foreign adversaries, complicating cyber attribution and global intelligence efforts." https://www.researchgate.net/publication/388613989_Vault_7_and_the_Future_of_Cyber_Warfare_The_CIA's_Digital_Arsenal_and_Its_Global_Implications
It is high time to remember the insights gained by Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, at great personal sacrifice, so as not to allow ourselves to be led into a major war against Russia by an unreliable security apparatus. Of the approximately 60 million deaths in World War II, only 0.3% were caused by the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan. Against Russia, the most powerful nuclear power on earth, the figures would be correspondingly horrific.
But citizens 'informed' by the mainstream media even have no idea of the very similar consequences of a full-blown cyberwar. John McAffee (1945-2021), one of the most important experts in cybersecurity, said: “I cannot conceive of how more than 1% of us could possibly survive a cyberwar.” https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/john_mcafee_755457
It remains to be seen whether it was solely due to McAffee's eccentric personality that he got into trouble with government agencies, including the CIA, in his later years.
